MOT Tests

We are a fully validated and approved MOT Testing station. An MOT is a test of road worthiness, and is an annual legal requirement for vehicles over 3 years old. You can even wait in our comfortable office while we MOT your car.

An interim service typically takes 1 – 2 hours and we advise all our customers, depending on their car make and model, to have one in between full services at least each year.

Air Conditioning Service

For your in-vehicle air conditioning to deliver cool and clean air efficiently and effectively, it needs to be serviced and re-gassed periodically.

About Us

Finding NEMOS

Not a day passes by without being asked where we found the name 'Nemos’. Proprietors Neil (clue, NE), and Maureen (Mo for short), had a daughter called Samantha… Have you found Nemo yet?

A display of poppies down the front wall of Nemos Garage attracted the attention of the Independent Garage Association back in 2019. They encouraged us to apply for a community award back then, so this year when the regional site assessment inspecto...

Sam Clayton

Sam spent her childhood alongside her mother and father who established Nemo Autos in 1974 (named after Neil and Maureen). Affectionately known as Nemos Autos or Nemos Garage, the name stuck as it included the s from Sam's name. Sam has carried on the family business, maintaining the reputation of friendly professionalism Mo established and prides herself in the honest service Nemos provide to generations of customers.

Maureen Clayton

Still involved in the business, in the background, Maureen (the Mo in Nemos) ran the business before Sam took it over. Known to generations of customers, Maureen helped establish the reputation of trustworthy advice and workmanship Nemos is known for.
